**Workshop Manager/ Bodyshop Manager**
The Body shop Manager directs work activities of the Body shop staff, including their observance of their deadlines and productivity levels, as well as the maintenance of quality standards.
Contributes toward achieving targeted profit for the department and maintains customer satisfaction standards, while containing expenses.
**JD for Workshop Manager/Bodyshop Manager**
- Direct work activities of Body & Paint shop employees
- Ensure high efficiency and productivity levels in meeting delivery deadlines
- Conduct daily brief/monitoring on attendance, productivity, workplace safety and other Body shop matters
- Conduct daily follow up to ensure repair job executed timely to meet delivery deadlines.
- Enforce quality repair work done consistently through correct usage of tools and repair methods
- Vendor & Workshop Cost Control to ensure company’s interest is maximised
- Ensure all process check and final quality inspections done to achieve zero return jobs
- Ensure adequate protection customers vehicles and their belongings treated with care
- Handle all internal shop floor issues & customer complaints. To provide resolution in timely manner
- Enforce control on supplies/consumables usage to reduce wastage
- Establish/ enforce procedures/ tools to monitor repair progress, with recovery process in place to handle expected delays or overdue cases
- Identify problems, develop and introduce systems and procedure to streamline efficiencies
- Create/distribute periodical reports to management on repair status and Bodyshop performance indicators
- Prepare and co-ordinate for Workshop Meister Examination
- Attend Operations & Management Meetings
- Ad-hoc requests from Management
