SEO Strategist

**Position Overview**:
We are on the lookout for an experienced SEO Strategist who possesses a well-rounded skill set in SEO strategies. The ideal partner will play a crucial role in leading our SEO efforts for an established website that features Chinese content tailored for the Chinese-speaking market, which currently ranks well for most keywords, often within the top 3 search results on the first page of Google. Your responsibility will be to maintain these rankings, while also enhancing the site's visibility and conversion through strategic 301 redirects, effective link-building campaigns, and optimization of user actions. This position demands a balance between maintaining SEO health through technical best practices and pushing the boundaries with innovative link-building and CRO strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **SEO Strategy Development and Execution**: Craft and execute SEO strategies to preserve and boost search engine rankings, with a focused approach on converting visitors into new customers.
- **Technical SEO and 301 Redirects**: Manage and implement 301 redirects for site restructures, content migration, or URL changes to ensure SEO value is retained and enhanced. Monitor and troubleshoot any issues arising from redirects.
- **Link-Building Expertise**: Develop and execute link-building strategies that increase the site's domain authority and improve SERP positions. This includes identifying opportunities for high-quality backlinks and managing outreach.
- **Conversion Rate Optimization**: Leverage SEO and CRO strategies to increase the percentage of visitors taking desired actions on the website, including thorough A/B testing and user experience improvements.
- **Performance Ownership**: Own the performance metrics related to SEO and new customer generation, regularly analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of the strategies deployed.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful SEO strategies.
- Demonstrable track record of improving SEO performance for significant web properties, including examples of increasing organic search traffic, improving SERP rankings, and achieving SEO-related KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals and result in measurable success.
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, on-page, off-page, local SEO, site architecture.
- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools to analyze data and make informed decisions.

**Additional Note**:

- As our website features content in Chinese, the ability to read Chinese is a considerable plus for this role. We highly value insights specific to our Chinese content and audience.
