**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Utilize Linux (or Unix-like OS) as the development environment and leverage shell scripts and command-line tools.
- Collaborate with data analysts, business end-users, and vendors to design and develop data solutions.
- Participate in the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Ensure data quality by using profiling, cleansing, and monitoring tools for data pipelines.
- Solve complex problems with innovative ideas and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- Work meticulously with details to ensure smooth operations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in as a platform engineer or software engineer.
- Hand on experience in implementing the optimal data structures in Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Oracle, and MS-SQL is a plus.
- Proficiency in using Linux (or Unix-like OS) as the development environment, including shell scripts and command-line tools.
- Experience with SDLC and/or Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
