Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bartender. As a key member of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for our guests. Your extensive knowledge of mixology, attention to detail, and passion for customer service will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant bar.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Beverage Preparation: Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, following established recipes and standards. Ensure accurate measurements, proper glassware, and garnishes to enhance presentation and taste.

2. Menu Knowledge: Possess an in-depth understanding of our beverage menu, including ingredients, flavors, and recommended pairings. Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences, guiding them through the menu and creating personalized beverage experiences.

3. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, engaging in conversation, and creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Anticipate guests' needs, handle inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

4. Mixology and Creativity: Showcase your mixology skills by crafting unique and innovative cocktails while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation. Stay updated on emerging trends in the beverage industry, experiment with new recipes, and contribute to the development of seasonal or specialty beverage offerings.

5. Bar Operations: Efficiently manage the bar area, including maintaining cleanliness, organizing supplies, and restocking inventory as needed. Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of beverages, glassware, and equipment.

6. Upselling and Promotions: Actively promote daily specials, seasonal beverages, and promotions to increase sales and enhance the guest experience. Engage in suggestive selling techniques to introduce guests to new and exciting beverage options.

7. Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately, process credit card payments, and reconcile the cash register at the end of each shift, following established procedures.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the floor staff, kitchen team, and other bartenders to ensure seamless operations, efficient communication, and a positive working environment.

9. Training and Knowledge Expansion: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and mixology techniques through self-study, training sessions, and attending relevant workshops or seminars. Share knowledge with team members and contribute to staff training programs.

10. Compliance: Adhere to all applicable liquor laws and regulations, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age and refusing service when necessary. Maintain responsible alcohol service practices and assist in preventing overconsumption.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.

2. Extensive knowledge of mixology, including a diverse range of cocktails, spirits, and other beverages.

3. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

4. Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

5. Attention to detail and ability to maintain composure during peak business hours.

6. Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems for order processing and payment handling.

7. Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

8. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

9. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
