**Responsibilities**
- Develops and implements robust sourcing and negotiation strategies.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and relationships.
- Develop and implement a local/regional/global supplier base for all critical components to achieve cost advantages and ensure delivery of quality products.
- Develop and implement long
- and short-range sourcing strategies for very complex and high-risk items.
- Responsible for implementing, reviewing and supporting development of a vendor risk framework including conducting periodic risk assessments.
- Support and validate Risk assessment and complete due diligence on all new third-party vendors/engagements prior to commencement of services.
- Provides thought leadership and works with management in the planning, development, and implementation of short
- and long-range goals.
- Track results and generate appropriate weekly and monthly and quarterly reports to the reporting manager/customers and continuously monitor progress of KPIs.
- Implement policies and metrics to ensure savings goals are realized.
- Work with technical buyers, engineers, and management to identify new product needs. Identify new sources to meet business requirements & procurement needs.
- Creating and developing strong working relationships with key internal and external partners up to Executive levels to achieve strategic objectives of the company.
- Working with and leading cross-functional teams to execute sourcing initiatives from start to finish, including the competitive bidding process and contract negotiations.
- Driving innovation related to strategic sourcing and supplier relations.
- Engage in vendor sourcing, pre-qualification, setup and tracking of supplier lists.
- Assessment of the supply market, maintains reliable sources of supply and backup sources
- Develops strategic partnerships with preferred suppliers to ensure business objectives are met.
- Negotiate cost reduction opportunities in line with relevant product cost roadmaps by price/cost analysis, negotiations, and strategic sourcing.
- Any other tasks as assigned by Reporting Officer.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of strategic procurement experience in the field of mechatronics and mechanical components/assemblies with technical validation.
- Experience with early supplier involvement, supplier development and strategic project sourcing/purchasing.
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel, both internally and externally.
- Experience in building and executing commodity strategies across multiple commodities and categories.
- Experience in selecting and qualifying suppliers based on QLTC.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced working environment.
- Exceptional client relationship, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional conceptual thinking, analytical and project management skills.
- A good team player and good negotiator with vendors.
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams such as Project Lead, Project Engineer, Quality, Logistic & Engineering.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $4,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month
