We are looking for a thought leader for climate solutions to join the growing team. You are responsible for being the technical and commercial expert on the company's climate management solutions. You will get to work closely with corporations, providing expertise in carbon and climate management strategies. Their role involves supporting sales efforts by identifying relevant solution capabilities for each customer's needs, collaborating with various internal teams and directly engaging with customers. They also contribute to product development by identifying market trends and providing guidance to the engineering team. The director is expected to drive revenue growth, maintain customer relationships, and provide technical leadership by demonstrating platform functionality and advising on carbon accounting frameworks. They also play a strategic role in advising organizations on carbon accounting methodologies, helping them align technical use cases with business objectives, and identifying opportunities for impact reductions and cost savings.

Your contributions will be valued and recognized by your team, as well as sought after by individuals in sales, marketing, and product departments. This is a crucial role in identifying, devising, and executing initiatives to enhance processes related to data collection during the sales cycle, customer-facing documentation, and internal team collaboration.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in sustainability solutions, preferably in a customer-facing consulting or sustainability leadership role. Educational qualifications will be considered alongside relevant experience.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with a relevant field of study. Possessing an MSc degree is a plus.
- Relevant and recognized certifications
- Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively present and explain technical information related to Greenhouse Gas Protocol, carbon accounting, and sustainability disclosure to diverse customer stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams and manage competing priorities while achieving key objectives within specified time constraints.
- Previous experience in creating GHG inventories and a working understanding of developing specific GHG disclosures.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and decision-making skills.
