**Responsibilities**
About the Team ByteDance Data Center Development team is responsible for building Data Center and Network in the Asia Pacific region. Our work involves, but not limiting to, data center innovation, implementing advanced technologies and renewable energy to achieve carbon-neutrality, rapid project delivery, capacity planning, process and risk control, cost management, etc. Our objective is to provide ByteDance with efficient Data Center infrastructure services to support our business growth. The Technical and Innovation team is responsible for technical planning and management of built-to-suit and leased data center projects in Asia Pacific region, data center infrastructure technology standardisation and research and development, as well as promoting green energy and achieving carbon neutrality as part of our global roadmap. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
**Qualifications**
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent - At least 5 years of relevant large-scale data center or other mission critical building design experience. Particularly, data center design principles such as power and cooling calculation, redundancy, etc - Some travel to data center sites is required Preferred Qualifications - Relevant experience of advanced electrical/liquid-cooling technologies design and deployment - Certified Chartered/Professional Engineer
