- Job Description
- Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ultra Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Local Scrubber Recycling system (LSR) and other water treatment systems to maintain maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors/vendors to implement corrective and preventive maintenance programs.
- Perform PM/CM activities for systems including in-house PM/CM as per SOP, RA and PTP.
- Review and improve Operation and Maintenance Standard Operating Procedure and Risk Assessment
- Troubleshoot and timely respond to out of spec conditions and interruptions of the plant and systems.
- Study, plan and execute engineering projects and engineering solutions to support UPW, WWTP including upgrades, retrofits, system expansion and maintenance.
- Perform capacity tracking and planning for UPW, WW and water recycling systems and carry out system capacity study to meet Manufacturing requirement.
- Work and support on Corporate driven projects.
- Support and enforce safety compliance and government regulations.
- To complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame.

Technical:

- Detailed understanding of UPW, Waste Water and Water Recycling systems and its associated equipment working principles.
- Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise improvement/upgrading/newprojects for relevant water systems.
- Propose, plan and execute water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption whenever possible.
- Understand system schematic drawings and update modifications time with records.
- Propose and evaluate cost of basic CM activities
- Carry out cost estimates and analysis of proposed projects.
- Identify/implement new technologies for UPW and Waste Water system to achieve technology breakthrough.
- Responsible for maintaining various administrative and engineering database in support of job tracking, engineering data, and costing.

Administrative:

- Generate and update of maintenance work orders as well as checking of inventories on FMS system
- Retrieve relevant SOP/RA, equipment database and PM checklist
- Accessing of Documentum/eWorks to retrieve the various forms/documentations
- Accurate time accountability and recording in SAP

Communication:

- Good communication and collaboration within Facilities Sections and with all customers throughout the organization - Keep supervisor informed on all assigned work progress and elevate any equipment issues when necessary with rectification advice Leadership skills
- Always ensure proper housekeeping within work area
- Training and certification of new team members
- Work with team members as a lead

EHSS:

- Understand the various LOTO devices required to be used during the PM/CM
- Perform PTP/RA of PM/CM work
- Understand the various electrical/fire/chemicalhazards of job areas
- Understand the safety procedures when required to enter confine space
- Able to select and don the correct PPE required for the respective PM/CM involved.

Cost Optimization:

- Participate and propose cost savings projects including optimizing expense cost spending.
