The Manager, Facilities will lead facility services across all Foot Locker stores and Corporate locations in Asia Pacific. The position will be responsible for managing the facilities expense and capital budgets including identifying savings opportunities related to facility spend. The role will be responsible for management of landlord and vendor relationships and to establish standard procedures to interact with vendors for services and maintenance. Also, this position will be responsible for delivery on Health and Safety requirements according to the applicable local regulations and laws of each Asia Pacific country Foot Locker operates in.

The Manager, Facilities is responsible for developing and maintaining a client focused, collaborative and consultative approach; anticipating client needs, thinking strategically, solutions focused and be both proactive and reactive as the situation and circumstances dictate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic direction and planning in Facility Services for all APAC locations ensuring alignment with the global strategic objectives.
- Promotes, maintains, and manages ethical relationships with current and new vendors and landlords.
- Responsible and accountable for developing of the function’s annual budget and management and execution of the same.
- Direct responsibility for implementation of Health and Safety related modifications and requirements at all Foot Locker APAC facilities.
- Drive processes & oversee inspection of all R&M and H&S work in progress and at completion to ensure these are in line with policies, procedures, and local legislation.
- Negotiates with vendors and manages relationships across all locations varying from maintenance & cleaning, evaluating them based on performance, SLA, expected Customer Service.
- Partner with Sr. Director Global Facilities, Directors Facilities NA and EMEA to ensure consistency and industry leading practices
- Responsible for the management of escalation with landlords and building owners on their responsibility for R&M and damage caused.
- Coordinates all matters relating to implementing standards, streamline efficiencies and to maintain a high level of quality control throughout the life cycle of the store and office environments.
- Protects each asset by determining clear guidelines, standards, and criteria by which the Facilities Team can effectively execute against.
- Implements a successful communication process that informs all departments when budget revisions and change directives occur.
- Communicates to cross functional partners; creates and manages project timelines for project initiatives for division/functional deliverables. Track, follow up, and drives adherence to milestones to maintain timelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 8 years of related experience with an international retailer or retail outsourced provider
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Architecture, Technical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience of leading teams
- Experience managing large expense budgets
- A problem solver who understands problem identification and the problem-solving process
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to effectively present and communicate concepts to cross-functional teams
- Ability to read Architectural and Engineering drawings
- Knowledgeable about operation and use of HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems in retail and corporate office environments
- Strong analytical & creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- Ability to multitask through aggressive schedules in a very fast paced environment
- Pro-active, well organized, and flexible
- A team player with a strong service-oriented attitude
