- Amanda Ngan- Recruiter Our banking client is currently seeking a business analyst to join a new project focused on developing a trading execution platform spanning all asset classes. This position is an individual contributor role and requires direct domain expertise in trading technologies to effectively communicate and collaborate with front office stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and challenges related to the investment execution platform.
- Analyze and document business requirements, processes, and workflows, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with technology teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Conduct thorough analysis and impact assessments to identify potential risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing features and functionalities, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as necessary.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to investment management and execution platforms.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in the financial services industry, with a focus on investment management or execution platforms.
- Strong understanding of investment products, trading workflows, and regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirements elicitation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
