This role will be handling tax advisory and operational compliance and reporting for all EDPR APAC geographies (except Vietnam and China).
- Provide expert tax advice on corporate structures, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing specific to the renewable energy sector in APAC.
- Advise on tax-efficient strategies related to international tax planning, cross-border transactions, and transfer pricing policies.
- Collaborate with wider finance team and business units to define and implement transfer pricing strategies, tax compliance and tax reporting controls.
- Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of tax incentives, credits, and subsidies available in the renewable energy sector across APAC countries.
- Oversee the implementation of transfer pricing policies and documentation in line with local regulations and global standards.
- Provide guidance on intercompany pricing arrangements and ensure compliance with applicable transfer pricing rules.
- Identify and assess tax risks, providing proactive solutions to mitigate potential tax exposures.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any tax audits, disputes, or inquiries from tax authorities.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s tax governance framework and internal control processes.
- Manage and oversee the preparation and timely filing of tax returns (corporate income tax, GST, withholding taxes, transfer pricing, etc.) across the APAC region, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all corporate tax obligations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings.Monitor tax legislation and regulatory changes within the APAC region to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields (specialization in taxation is a plus)
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably with 2 to 3 years of Big 4 experience and high-growth, MNC or listed companies
- Good knowledge with APAC and SG tax
- Hands on, driven and collaborative, and high work ownership
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines for multiple concurrent projects across APAC
- Self-starter, strong multi-tasking, and project management capabilities
- Good team management skills
- Able to translate technical tax issues into practical business solutions
- Excellent communicator who can influence, engage, and build strong relationships & trust at all levelsValue alignment: stewardship, collaboration, innovation and with a spirit of excellence
