**About the role - you will**:
Responsible for managing all environmental, health and safety programs and services for Woodlands and Lead focal implementer of Woodlands EHS programs in the site.

Scope of accountability includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

- Act as the Registered Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer, Fire Safety Manger and Green House Gas manager for Woodlands Plant
- Facilitate site compliance with Singapore and Seagate EHS requirements
- Facilitate integration of EHS risk management opportunities into the business operations.
- Act as the Woodlands campus EHS lead for Chemical management and Industrial Hygiene program.
- Manage site reporting on Green House Gas to NEA and Corporate.
- Manage campus waste generation and reduction program.
- Establish and deliver EHS communications and training

**About you**:

- A team player who develop, organize, administer and follow through on site EHS programs to ensure a safe & health workplace.
- Interact and collaborate with various site departments to continuously integrate EHS within the organization.
- Work with engineers, managers and management to develop metrics and drive improvements in EHS performance
- Communicate consistency on EHS directions and expectations to continually increase personnel awareness, knowledge and behaviors on our core values.
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related engineering.

**Your experience includes**:

- Expert knowledge in the field of EHS to include Singapore EHS regulatory requirements
- Registered WSHO with Ministry of Manpower and familiar with ISO 14001 & ISO45001
- Registered Fire Safety Manager with Singapore Civil Defence Force and familiar with NFPA
- Preferably registered GHG manager with NEA.
- Expertise in developing and delivering presentations. Strong computer skills
- Minimum of five years of professional EHS experience, preferably program leadership experience

**Location**:
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore. housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT station, with many employees taking mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available. Here at work you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks at our on-site canteen and coffee shop. We offer a range of facilities including an in-house gym and dance studio, as well as after-work badminton and table tennis competitions. On-site celebrations and community volunteer opportunities also abound.

In response to COVID-19, this position may temporarily begin and be performed remotely. Seagate is actively evaluating the virus and our employees' health and safety are our top priority. In the future, this position will report to and be performed at our **Woodlands (W1)** location.
