**Global Markets Division for Asia, Global Markets Research Desk (AGMD-GMR)
**Job responsibilities**:
Produce quality research reports on ASEAN economics and FX rates, with a focus on INR, PHP and VND. Participate regular reports that the Asia Global Market Research team runs, including the daily FX reports, weekly reports, and quarterly outlook reports. Enhance customers and internal audiences satisfaction via conference calls, company visits, seminars, webinars and etc

**Strategic**

To support GMR's work from global and regional perspective - Tokyo, London and New York, Asia - in terms of raising bank's visibility via research, ad hoc customer requests, conference calls and customer visits.

**Financial**
- Produce regular monthly, weekly and daily FX/economic reports. Write ad-hoc commentary on economic data, policies, events and FX movements of the ASEAN countries (e.g. India, Philippines, and Vietnam).
- Produce in depth and thematic research, contribute to regional and global research pipelines, and participate research initiatives that may arise from time to time. And research on topics on demand.
- Create and maintain models for economic indicators and FXs.
- Conduct seminars, client visits and business trips assigned to share our research views and help engage clients.

**Customer**
- Build effective relationships with key customers to deliver a high quality of customer experience.
- Work in partnership with sales, traders and relationship managers across the region to respond to customers’ queries pertaining to markets and economic performances, through company visits and seminars.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both internally with MUFG and externally.

**People**
- Be a strong team player, work actively and closely with other teammates in Asia GMR team.
- Be flexible and supportive with the new research initiatives, and research topics on demand.

**Others/Control**
- Support in managing the risk profile for the department.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits.
- Adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

**Job requirements**:

- Bachelor or Master’s degrees in economics,, Finance, or other relevant certification
- At least 7 years or above in FX research experience within the financial industry
