PURPOSE

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Capital Management and Valuation, with the focus on MAS and IFRS reporting. The role provides opportunities to work directly with the AA and CFO in matters relating to strategic plans and other key projects.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES- Responsible for the MAS and IFRS reporting and other statutory requirements, with quality deliverables- Assist in preparing forecast, business plan, stress tests and other projects- Assisting and supporting the process enhancement and automation initiatives in the team to improve reporting processes in terms of speed, accuracy and controls- Support Senior Manager, Capital Management and Valuation, AA, CFO and the team on key ad-hoc projects where required

EXTERNAL & INTERNAL STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT- Key internal stakeholders: Actuarial, Finance and Business Owners- Key external stakeholders: Group Actuarial and Auditors

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE- Bachelor’s Degree- Good actuarial exam progress with up to 3 years of actuarial experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY- Keen on learning and have some understanding on the actuarial technical skills- Good communication and stakeholder management skills- Prior working experience in valuation or reporting is an added advantage- Prior working experience in Actuarial software - Prophet is an added advantage- Skilled in computing language is an added advantage- Bachelor’s Degree- Good actuarial exam progress with up to 3 years of actuarial experience
