The Sports & Wellness Instructor is responsible for the effective and relevant delivery and administration of the service(s) and/or programme(s) in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions (including the code of conduct) as stated in signed contract.

Key Duties

1. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the curriculum, rules, standards and procedures involved in the delivery of the service(s) and/or programme(s), to the assigned participants and to ensure active participation.

2. To be accountable and report to the Programme In Charge in the following areas:
a. Provides feedback and evaluation of the service(s) and/or programme(s) periodically or whenever the needs arise to continually improve quality of service(s) and/or programme(s)

b. Ensures that service(s) and/or programme(s) is/are implemented and carried out according to the relevant legislation, policies and procedures

c. Adheres to rules and regulations as stipulated by the Department including usage of

facilities

3. Safety:
a. Ensure that courses are conducted in a safe and secure environment

4. Administration:
a. Ensures participant’s attendance and assessment is properly marked and updated

before the end of every session

b. Adheres to complete all sessions promptly within assigned timeline and/or term period, and to avoid pro-long of timeline

c. Assist in distributing of relevant documents (e.g. term schedule, programme information)

5. Parent / Participant Relations

a. Handles all feedbacks or concerns raise by parents or participants professionally and

promptly

b. Ensures regular communication with participants and/or parents, and follow-up on

participants’ development and progress

c. Attends all related activities/meetings/conferences/training relevant

6. To assist in carrying out other duties related to the programme, as assigned by Programme in charge

**Requirements**:

- Strong interest in serving the community (e.g. disadvantaged group, mental health)
- Able to work with participants of different age groups
- Able to work with volunteers
- Possesses relevant instructor certificate (E.g. Zumba, Group aerobics/Strength training, Elderly Fitness)
- Possesses relevant coaching experience
- Possesses CPR and AED certification
- Possesses good working attitude
- Able to work on weekdays and/or Saturday
