You will work as a regional treasurer at the APAC Regional Treasury Center (RTC). Focus will be on the Regional Payment Center (RPC), Export Letter of Credit, Internal control, and integration of risk, liquidity, cash management and banking activities at regional and local level.

**Specifically you will cover**:
Regional Payment Center (RPC)
- Lead and execute payments for the countries in the region. Automatic + Manual.
- Manage the payment structure of the countries in the region.
- Optimize payment process and our TMS usage.

Export Letter of Credit (LC) management
- Manage the whole export LC process, focus on the executive of the LC presentation
- Responsible of optimization of LC flow and digitalis LC process
- Analyze LC flow and give constructive suggestion/comments to avoid any risk
- Minimize the LC cost.

Internal control
- Oversee APAC region’s bank accounts, signatories and online banking platforms and ensure appropriate controls are in place
- Maintain and update the supplier database
- Fraud control and ensure the safety of cash for the group.

Liquidity management/Financing
- Help integration of Liquidity management and setup an efficient financing structure for the countries in the region. In coordination with group structures.
- Provide oversight of country level cash position to ensure adequate liquidity for daily working capital needs, in coordination with local finance teams.
- Manage a portfolio of external and internal loans and ensure compliance with loan covenants, and avoid overdraft without agreement support.
- Coordinate with group liquidity strategies for global cash pooling project.

Cash management
- Manage country level cash forecasting and netting processes with local finance teams.
- Ensure an efficient cash management structure to maintain a smart use of cash of the country, and cooperate with the global cash management structure if any.

FX management
- Follow up with FX liquidation.
- Setup and cooperate with local CFOs and Group Treasurers for Local FX strategies.

External relationship
- Maintain a good banking relationship locally and regionally, negotiation of bank agreements and documentation, ensure of excellent customer service from our bank, and a competitive fee structure, while looking for business opportunities to support our bank relationship.

**Requirements**:

- Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field is required
- Three or more years of payment/export LC/cash management/treasury related experience in a multinational company or a bank with a total of 2-3 years of experience in a treasury and cash related field
- Consistent track record of building strong internal and external business relationships
- Strong ability to identify, adapt and communicate strategies, issues, and action plans to Treasury, regional and local leadership teams and other internal and external partners
- Track record of setting challenging goals and holding him/herself and others on the team accountable to those goals in order to deliver results
- Good analytical and modelling skills
- Interested in Big Retail/Distribution business model
- Keep up to date in relevant financial and industry developments, advice management on impact of regulatory / monetary changes in the region
- Open minded and dynamic and sports lover is a must
