Business Analyst - Banking & Data Migration

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business

Analyst with deep expertise in the banking domain and hands-on

experience in data migration projects. This role is critical to

ensuring seamless transitions between legacy and modern

systems, while aligning technology solutions with business goals

across banking operations.
- Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document

business and migration requirements

Lead end-to-end data migration initiatives across banking

platforms (core banking, digital banking, payments, etc.)

Conduct gap analysis, data mapping, and transformation logic for

legacy-to-modern system migrations

Work closely with data architects, developers, and QA teams to

ensure data integrity and compliance

Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and UAT sessions

Create process flows, business cases, and functional

specifications

Ensure adherence to banking regulations (e.g., KYC, AML, )

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3

years in banking and 2+ years in data migration

Strong understanding of banking products, services, and

operational workflows

Proven experience in data migration projects (e.g., core banking

upgrades, cloud transitions)

Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, and

SQL

Familiarity with ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation

techniques

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and

documentation skills

Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
