Our client is an International Bank who have a strong presence in the region, and their area of expertise include diversified areas in consumer banking, full service, global corporate and investment banking.

Primary duties will be focusing on independent price verification, providing oversight of provision and reserve methodologies and regular measurement and reporting of Regulatory Prudent Valuations. This role would focus primarily on their credit business.

**Some of the key responsibilities will include**:

- Work closely with the Front Office, Risk & PC-Line to control positions in the Asia Credit business including cash products, structured notes & financing trades.
- Collaborate closely with the global Credit PC-Valuations teams across different locations and time zones.
- Provide independent valuations challenge, analysis, reporting and ad-hoc investigations, covering the full spectrum of products in the Credit business line.
- Proactively communicate and escalate valuation or Business-related observations and concerns on an ongoing basis to PC-Valuations management.
- Maintain general control governance, completeness, and relevant documentation.
- Address questions or requests from audit, control teams and regulators as required.

**To be eligible for this role you will require**:

- 5 years’ previous relevant experience with strong understanding of cash and derivative products commonly traded within Credit business.
- Degree in Finance or a numerical discipline preferred.
- Professional qualification such as CFA would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of programing languages such as VBA, Python, Alteryx, Hypercube would be preferred.
