**Job Description**:
As the **Demand and Supply** **Analyst**, you lead with a customer first mindset to define tool and processes around data analytics for merchandising and inventory optimization in the South Asia region. This role will structurally steer the data-drive approach among the merchandising team, stakeholders, and partner teams.

The **Demand and Supply** **Analyst** will work closely, both strategically and operationally, with the Inventory Optimization team, Merchandise Managers, Demand and Supply Planning Managers and the logistics team to enable a fast, flexible and effective in-region omni supply chain today and in future.

**Core responsibilities includes but is not limited to**:

- Gather business requirements and build sales and stock balance reports for both historical learning, as well as predictive forecasts for proactive planning. The examples of various complexities include stock balance across stores and online channels, hard bordered warehouses between countries, multiple warehouses within the same country, and different climate within the same sales market.
- Translate complex sets of sale, inventory, store segmentation, garment groups data into actionable insights, deliver business recommendations and address specific business questions to support key functions, such as: inventory optimization, merchandise commercial planning, demand and supply planning.
- Support the regional team to set long term optimal pricing strategy across the sales markets.
- Provide data extraction and analysis support for ad-hoc requests from business partners.
- Use a hypothesis driven approach to analyze data in order to answer key business questions: provide clear and concise deliverables and recommendations.
- Maintain functional expertise in database analytics best practices and the tools that support them.
- Lead the way in helping the merchandising team develop a deep understanding of current and potential sales and stock balancing opportunities.
- In all of the above - work closely with the global supply chain and business tech teams in leveraging and improving the existing merchandising reporting, as well as defining the need of new sales and stock data requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Marketing, related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in retail planning and allocation data analytics experience, preferable in a multi-channel and global retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex analysis and data relationships.
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Power BI, SQL, Tableau or Cognos.
- Ability to transform complex data sets into simple visuals and reports for members at all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding in allocation, inventory optimization, logistics operation and store operations.
