-Family Group: Allied Health
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
To deliver psychological services in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and YH campus.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC (80%)
1.To provide individual and/or group psychotherapy for inpatients and outpatients (e.g. cognitive behaviour therapy, supportive therapy, relaxation therapy, stress management).
2.To provide psychometric assessments (e.g. IQ, neuropsychological, dementia).
3.To attend to routine medico-legal and forensic cases.
4.To assist in the hospital’s peer support program for staff and/or corporate clients and give talks and workshops on stress management and mental health.
5.To assist in supervision to junior psychologists.
(B) GENERAL (20%)
1.Involvement in support groups (e.g. weight management support group) and/or provide input for relevant hospital programmes.
2.To participate in or conduct research independently or in collaboration with other specialists.
4.To lead and provide supervision to Masters in Clinical Psychology students.
5.To undertake any special duties as assigned by CEO, CMB, COO, HOD and supervisor.
