Director, IT Delivery

There are key transformation initiatives to implement new processes, technologies and solutions in that requires expertise to drive IT towards platform operating model that covers platform strategy, roadmap, delivery and operations as well project manage some larger transformation delivery to meet objective within approved timeline and budget.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develops, directs, coaches, mentors and aligns/reinforces team members with the mission, vision, values and goals
- Fosters commitment, team spirit, pride and trust
- Able to communicate and socialise agenda effectively with senior management
- Uses professional knowledge, experience and technical expertise to respond to questions and facilitate problem solving
- Advises, influences and guides internal stakeholder, customers and business partners

- Strategic vendor management, business, IT and provider alignment, executive ownership
- Maintains and builds alliances with recognised experts and with decision makers

- Represents the organisation on strategic issues impacting multiple organisations, the community and the professional field

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 15 years of relevant IT experience with at least 10 years of project management and Telco experience
- Managed delivery / project teams of more than 50 staff
- Strong experience in managing multiple business stakeholders and vendors
- Strong commercial background
- Effective at communicating and influencing at senior management and executive level
- Strong understanding of industry standards
- Experience in delivery in a complex and high
- pressure environment
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivery of quality services
- Strong financial and vendor management experience with successful track record of driving to an outcome
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems, technical and engineering concepts as well as business operations and processes.
- Ability to keep abreast of the new technologies with a view of implementing them to increase productivity and efficiency of the organisation.
- Demonstrable background in the design, implementation, measurement and tracking of operational key performance indicators
- Detailed understanding of the end-to-end software lifecycle, operational and support procedures and processes
- Proven track record of conceptual / strategic thinking ability
- Possess excellent communication, collaboration, presenting and influencing skills, particularly in liaison with internal & external service providers and senior leadership
- Display leadership in action - self-directed and motivated; able to influence team to achieve project milestones
- Possess the ability to exercise independent and effective judgment
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous, energetic, innovative, able to work well in a team and under pressure
