**What you are being asked to buy into**

The Singapore office is at a point of significant change. We’ve just started the integration of these Media, Creative, Content, Research, Data & Platform capabilities. Our 7 Islands Operating System is helping to make this a meaningful reality for our people & partners and a compelling proposition for clients.

This is an opportunity, for a curious and restless individual, to join and to help shape the future direction of the Singapore office and some of the services it offers. This individual will have demonstrated an active interest in Marketing/Media/Creative. Ultimately, they will want to work in partnership with the Strategy Leads in the team who specialise in I) Brand, Creative & Content strategy ii) Channel and Connections strategy.

**Life as a Strategist at Merkle B2B**

1. To lead intelligence gathering and insight development on clients and new business opportunities.

2. Key deliverables for the role:

- Intelligence & insights on Customers (e.g. desk research, GWI, social listening and search analytics)
- Intelligence & insights about a Company, its Categories, and Competitors.
- Intelligence & insight on Channels (Owned and paid).
- Intelligence & insights into the bigger Context (e.g. cultural, economic & technological) for clients.
- The codes and conventions of a category
- Get to the real problem that we are trying to solve.
- Begin to identify the opportunity spaces based on all the above.

3. Will work independently and sometimes partner with others in the strategy team to create proposals around:

- Brand & proposition strategy. Brand, product & service development.
- Creative & content strategy. Creative & content development.
- Customer strategy and business growth strategy. Segmentation & growth plan development.
- Channel & connections strategy. Paid and owned media activation.
**Experience / knowledge required**
- Desired qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/ Higher Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders
- Highly enthusiastic, self-motivated, meticulous and detail orientated
- A confident and safe-pair of hands for both the agency and clients
- Strong time management skills with an ability to prioritise
