**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Understand the technical and schedule demands of the Giga/Fab7 programs, and deploy resources to meet business demands.
- Build and maintain close working relationships with program managers, peer managers, and the overall Giga/Fab7 community.
- Ability to collaborate with upstream and downstream teams.
- Understand the OPC team job roles sufficiently to provide direction and constructive feedback to engineers. Recognize & arrange training in technical OPC topics, provide structure around technical innovations that engineers are pursuing, collaborate on OPC technical requirements with Global OPC Technology team, Fab1/8 & India OPC Team, and OPC Software Vendors.
- Drive and support team execution, especially innovating ways to improve efficiency and quality (1st time right techfile solutions) thru automation and business process improvement. Measure and define success metrics.
- Collaborate with the Model/RET team for patterning and litho process simulation, RET optimization, and model verification/re-calibration as needed for Fab7/Giga fabs.

**Required Qualifications**:

- BS + 12 years of experience or MS + 10 years PhD + 8 years in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or other closely related engineering or physical science discipline.
- Fundamental understanding of lithography process and Optical Proximity Correction.
- Demonstrated experience with or knowledge of project management, structured problem solving, and leading technical teams

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of lithography, RET, OPC, mask data preparation, and design rules, and demonstrated experience in a technology development environment
- Good understanding of high performance Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) patterning/design integration
- Ability to drive projects with minimum supervision, and communicate complicated messages concisely both written and verbally
- RET/OPC-related publications
- Prior experience directly managing people
