
Inventory & Logistics Administrator

**Responsibilities**:
1. Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; orders inventory from vendors and suppliers; tracks orders and investigates problems
2. Performs physical count of inventory on a regular basis, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports according to company policy
3. Data entry and maintains accurate, and complete inventory movement transactions in the inventory tracking system by documenting deliveries and shipments
4. Re-stocks items as necessary to maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand; labels shelves
5. Inspects shipments for accuracy and completeness, and communicates with vendors for shipment discrepancies
6. Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures
7. Coordinate and perform activities associated with shipping, receiving, distribution, or transportation of goods
8. Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and processes on all offshore import and export transactions
9. Select, contract and execute cost effective and timely transportation requirements and prepare appropriate customs documentation and shipping information
10. Perform freight invoice audit, resolve discrepancies and ensure rate schedules are current
11. Interact with logistics providers, customers and vendors on customs and transportation issues
12. Reconcile commercial documentation with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies prior to customs entry
13. Plan layouts of stockroom and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, or related factors pertaining to goods
14. Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders
15. Work with vendors for RMA when defective goods are discovered
16. Trains other team members in inventory management
17. Establish trusted relationships with vendors to ensure quality service and cost-effective deals
18. Implement inventory control protocols
19. Implement an inventory tracking system to optimise inventory control procedures
20. Recommends controls and procedures to prevent loss of inventory and asset
21. Manages demo assets by track and record the movement
22. Any other duties which may be assigned from time to timeRequirements:
1. Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar field with 2-3 years previous experience in general warehousing, supply chain, and/or inventory management is required
2. Knowledge in inventory policies and procedures as well as customs operations, laws and regulations
3. Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting changing deadlines
4. Strong organisational and record keeping skills
5. Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
6. Self-directed and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
7. Can-do working attitude, a keen learner and passionate about work
8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
9. Possess good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
10. Data entry and word processing skills
11. A good team player with ability to work across departments in order to achieve optimal process efficiencies
