Project Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated and well-qualified Project Officer with an interest and a strong background in perovskite nanocrystal synthesis and scaling up with expertise in basic characterization studies (UV/VIS, PL, TEM, AFM, GIWAXS/GISAXS, XRD etc). The project officer will shoulder the responsibility of scaling up synthesis of perovskite nanocrystals and liaise with our industry partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the synthesis of perovskite nanoparticles- To perform basic characterization studies of perovskite nanoparticles- To perform scale up synthesis of perovskite nanoparticles- To coordinate our research with our industry partner- To assist the principal investigator with the writing of research papers. (quarterly or half yearly)- To assist the principal investigator with the writing of progress reports. (quarterly or half yearly)- To assist the principal investigator with the writing of research grants. (half yearly)- To assist the principal investigator in the supervision and mentoring of a small research team comprising of post-graduate students and undergraduate students. (One graduate student, UG student report to him/her)
Job Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Chemistry or Materials Science or B.Eng. in Materials Science and Engineering etc.- Must have a minimum 2 years of research experience in the synthesis of perovskite nanoparticles.- Experience in synthesis of perovskite nanoparticles.- Experience in basic characterization studies (UV/VIS, PL, TEM, AFM, GIWAXS/GISAXS, XRD etc) of perovskite nanoparticles.- Experience in the scale up synthesis of perovskite nanoparticles.
