**Overview**-
**Job Brief**
- The intern will be rotated within various functions to learn the businesses of Transport Capital, and then will be trained on the following:
- Corporate Finance - how to conduct industry, market, and company-specific research and develop transaction marketing materials including pitch books.
- Create and/or work with financial models which support the analysis of maritime companies which is required when creating detailed proforma models.
- Shown how the execution of advisory transactions is conducted, including performing financial analysis and firm valuation, managing the due diligence process, and preparing meeting materials, etc.
- Venture Capital analysis and market research, with focus on trends of decarbonization and digitalization of maritime and aviation industries
- Research around the developments of low and zero emissions vessels, regulatory and market developments, new technologies etc.
- Shipbroking - how negotiations between parties to buy/sell ships or arrange the employment of a vessel or transport of goods and commodities by sea, on behalf of TCT’s clients.
- Involved in the Company’s Sustainability strategy and “Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) projects.
- Communications and marketing activities

**Job Requirement**

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate or Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime / Finance-related discipline

**Skills and Competencies**
- Computer literate with particular emphasis on MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook) Exposure to Financial Modeling in Excel is an added advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written
- Attentive to detail, able to build and maintain work relationships, and willing to learn
- Independent and exercise sound judgment
