**Responsibilities**:

- Assist and support the surgery room and surgical team in preparing for day-to-day operations.
- Prepare patients and set up the surgery room and tools according to procedure requirements.
- Check consent for the correct patient, correct type of procedure, and correct operating site.
- Bring in pre-operative patients to the surgery room.
- Assist in the documentation of patient care records.
- Dispose of surgical waste and discard contents from suction bottles.
- Perform sterilization of surgical instruments and disinfect the trolley after surgery.

**Requirements**:

- Possesses Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in relevant technical credentials.
- WSG Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Operating Theatre) or (Sterilisation Services) will be advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Service-oriented and passionate about working in the healthcare industry.
