**Role Description**:
We are looking for a dependable Logistics Operation Manager who will be in charge of the complete supply chain management. The Logistics Operation Manager is responsible for organizing and overseeing the storage and distribution of products.
The purpose is to manage the complete order cycle in order to improve business development, sustainability, and customer happiness.that emphasises empowerment, quality, continuous improvement, and the recruitment and on-going development of a superior workplace
**Specific Responsibilities**:
1. The Trainee will be capable of developing and implementing best-practice logistics principles, policies, and processes to improve operational and financial performance. He or she will be able to provide logistics solutions while maintaining high levels of quality and service.
2. The Trainee will be able to detect inventory problems and verify that inventory and system records are in sync. Keep track of slow-moving and obsolete stock. He or she will be able to find cost-cutting opportunities by eliminating waste or needless stages in the logistics process.
3. The trainee will work with the internal team and clients to ensure that services are delivered on time and to the requirements of the client, as well as to report and address any issues that emerge.
4. The trainee will work with the Director to learn and practice creating a strong operation management report, forecasting, budgeting, and presenting management with effective and timely operation and sales updates.
5. The trainee will be able to generate yearly budget reports, predict, improve operational management systems, and implement processes and best practices.
6. Trainee will work with partners and the director to identify and address potential problems and opportunities for the company.
7. The Trainee will be able to plan and manage logistics, transportation, and customer service in a strategic manner. He or she will be able to direct, optimize, and organize the entire order cycle, as well as resolve any difficulties or complaints that arise. The Trainee will be able to meet targets for cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness, as well as maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and execute improvements.
8. The trainee will be able to lead his or her team on numerous projects while adhering to strict deadlines.
Competencies:
1. Learn general and task management skills such as planning, managing, and evaluating logistics operations. Create and put into action best-practice logistics principles, policies, and practices. Recommend the best modes, routes, and frequencies of transportation.
2. Learn about stock/inventory management.
Determine and correct any inventory irregularities.
Ensure that the records in place are effective, up to date, and correct.
3. Learn about operation management
skills, key operational requirements,
and managing and delivering services
on time.
4. To discover more about professional report writing skills.
5. Development of Budget and Operational Procedures and Policies
6. To Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
7. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
8. To learn about time management and multi tasking skills.
4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months
5. Approved Training Allowance: Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $2800
6. Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role Under SGUnited Traineeship:
