Responsbilities:
- Work closely with Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, design and supervision leadership not only to solve site problems, but also to ensure timely completion of the projects.
- Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions etc., are well managed.
- Monitor site works to ensure the method statements and work procedure are strictly followed.
- Competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s work site.
- Ensure the Builder executes the work in accordance to Consultant’s instructions.
- Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to Consultant, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays.
- Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project.Witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Possess relevant Civil/Structural Engineering degree from a recognized University and is a registered Resident Engineer with IES.
- Minimum 5 years of Resident Engineer experience in supervision of residential/institutional development, factory building with strong knowledge of bored piling, driven piling, precast structures, post tensioning work structural steel works.
- Fully conversant with Building Contract Act and Regulations. Able to administer contracts professionally, maintain site records and contract documents systematically, to meet reporting requirements under Building Control Act.
- Has good working knowledge of Geotechnical and instrumentation works and compliance to Singapore Building Regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- LTD, DSTA, HDB & Private project expreience will be added advantage.
