Make recommendations based on customers' preferences and dietary restrictions.
Encourage customers to try new or popular items on the menu.
- Handling Payments and Operating POS System:Present customers with accurate bills and process payments promptly.
Handle cash transactions and provide change as required.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process orders and payments accurately.
- Table Maintenance:Keep the dining area clean and well-organized throughout the shift.
Clear tables promptly after customers leave and prepare them for the next guests.
Set up tables with utensils, glassware, and other necessary items before customers are seated.
- Teamwork and Communication:Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate any customer feedback, special requests, or issues to the appropriate personnel.
Assist colleagues when necessary, such as helping with food running or refilling drinks.
- Knowledge of Safety and Hygiene:Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including personal hygiene.
