Our mission at OGP is to build tech for public good.

To accomplish this, OGP does everything from building better apps for citizens to automating the internal operations of public agencies. Our role is to accelerate the digital transformation of the Singapore Government by being a space where it can experiment with new tech practices, including new technologies, management techniques, corporate systems, and even cultural norms. Projects we have worked on include:
Covid-19 Vaccination National Appointment System - A suite of systems built to enable Singapore's national vaccination campaign for Covid-19. This includes informational sites, appointment booking systems, and records management systems.

Data.gov.sg - An open repository of all the Singapore Government's public data. It helps people understand the data using visualizations and articles, and provides real-time APIs for developers to use.

Parking.sg - A mobile app alternative to parking coupons. It lets users pay, extend, and refund their parking sessions just using their phones.

FormSG - A form builder tool for agencies to self-service and create online forms that capture classified data, with the goal of replacing paper forms.

**What you will do**:
The goal of the People Team is to bring in the best people and create the best organisation environment possible for them to make the most impact on public good. The goal of the People Operations Specialist is to help the People Team achieve this by building and running an efficient and effective hiring + people operations engine. Through doing so, you will enable OGP to keep functioning well through different stages of organisation growth, as we scale rapidly.

In the short
- to medium-term, you will build and optimise our People policies, processes, and systems so that OGP can continually improve on being a high-performing organisation. In the longer-term, you will take learnings from OGP to help the Singapore Government transform how we run organisations and people operations across agencies. This is so that we can deliver public good not just nationally, but also internationally as we build Singapore to serve as an international model for a modern digital government.

You will work closely with the OGP People team, and report directly to the Head of People. This role is an individual contributor position.

Concretely on the day-to-day, you will:

- Own OGP’s recruitment coordination operations. This includes job postings, interview scheduling, interview assessments, reference checks, offer processes, and onboarding.
- Build, automate, and optimise OGP’s recruitment processes to function efficiently at scale whilst maintaining best-in-class hiring turnaround times and assessment standards.
- Work closely with People Team members working on recruitment/hiring programmes as well as hiring managers to set, define, and track hiring processes and outcomes.
- Own OGP’s People data management and systems. This includes OGP’s HR management system (BambooHR) and working closely with external stakeholders e.g. payroll providers
- Create and optimise OGP’s people policies, systems and processes that are in line with our principles and culture, and that also lead to a positive user experience for employees.
