**Programme Administration and Management**:
The Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), is an autonomous institute of the Singapore University of Social Sciences, is at the forefront of building capabilities and continuing professional development for an effective, innovative and responsive TAE sector.
The Master in Boundary-Crossing Learning and Leadership (MBX) is IAL's flagship graduate degree programme. It is a novel, transdisciplinary and cutting-edge programme focusing on cross-boundary change, innovation, learning and leadership, and pedagogical innovation in adult learning. Its students comprise professionals from diverse disciplines, job functions and industry sectors, and its industry mentors are C-suite and senior management position-holders from the private and public sectors.
The role of the Manager for the MBX programme is to drive the smooth implementation of the programme. The Manager will work closely with the Head of Programme, teaching faculty, industry mentors, students (programme applicants, students and alumni), SUSS and IAL administrative teams, and other relevant stakeholders. He/She will have practice opportunities and gain work experience in cross-boundary work involving diverse stakeholders, systems and practices, and develop deep learning skills for improving their workplace performance.
**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of the Executive include:
1) Planning, coordinating and carrying out efficient administration of
- Associate/faculty matters such as recruitment, deployment, renewal, queries, associate events
- Programme/course management matters such as course scheduling, room bookings, curriculum changes, LMS course sites, marks and final results processing, programme-related meetings and programme audits
- Procurement and finance-related matters
2) Performing general administrative duties such as collation of data and preparation of reports/status updates
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree Holder with at least three (s) years of working experience, preferrably in the training/education sector
- Meticulous, diligent and takes pride in their work
- Positive learning attitude, ability to work independently, adaptable, resilient to challenges, proactive, resourceful, and good problem-solving skills
- Effective interpersonal skills, strong team player and excellent command of written and spoken English
- The successful appointee will be based at the IAL campus loacted at the Lifelong Learning Institute at Paya Lebar.
