**Job Description & Requirements**:
1. **8 to 15 years **of experience in Oracle Database administration on oracle versions 12.x, 19c & 21c hosted on various Unix flavours.

2. Perform complex physical and logical database administration activities including database related project management, installation, administration, performance management, monitoring, backup, restoration, and change management of company’s mission critical RDBMS systems under mínimal direction or supervision

3. At least 3 years of experience on Oracle RAC 12c and higher versions

4. Should have experience on oracle database upgrade from 12.x to 19c and 19c to 21c.

5. Experience with RMAN backup & restore and Shell Scripting Required

6. Must be expert on Oracle patching

7. Should have experience on Database/SQL tuning, performance optimization and data realignments

8. **Must be willing to work on rotational day shift on Weekdays(7 am,9 am & 2 pm) **. **Weekend support (Sat - 7am, 4pm & 10pm ,Sun - 7am)as needed. **Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs

9. Any additional experience on other database technologies is highly desirable

10. Positive attitude, problem solving skills and self-initiative are must qualities

11. Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases

12. Prepare documentations and specifications

13. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

14. Proficient writing Linux shell scripts for maintenance and automation purposes

16. Maintaining production, UAT and dev databases without outage

17. Must have experience in shell scripting to automate DB operations
