**About The Role**

**As a Cloud Engineer, you will be accountable for**:

- Ensuring continued operations of Data Centre and Cloud environments.
- Providing Level 3 escalated support to the broader IT Team.
- Administer MS Azure and AWS based IaaS / PaaS environments.
- Administration of MS Office 365 environment and other cloud platforms.
- Jointly Administer Citrix, SQL and other On-Premise environments.
- Participate in Data Centre to Cloud migration activities.
- Provide remote and, when required, onsite support to locations throughout operating regions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all MCD Group IT Policies, Operating Standards and Procedures.

**About You**
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Cloud focused; experience in migration programs. You need to be comfortable both in the Data Centre and in the Cloud. Experience with VMWare to Azure / AWS would be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 Years’ demonstrable experience in Azure / AWS with at least 7 Years’ experience in traditional Data Centre / On Premise environment administration.
- Experience with Citrix is preferred but not essential however experience with cloud desktop virtualisation such as Azure Virtual Desktop will be well regarded.
- At least 5 Years’ experience in Enterprise grade networking. Experience with Meraki is an advantage.
- Demonstrable strong PowerShell and scripting experience. Exposure to automation or Infrastructure as Code well regarded.
- Be security minded. Experience in deploying, administering, and maintaining Enterprise grade security solutions.
- Ability to operate with mínimal direction, prioritise competing work requirements and effectively manage time. Excellent team player and communicator.
- Ability to exercise initiative, problem solve and manage a multiplicity of issues simultaneously
- Enjoy working across multiple regions with an ability for occasional travel, both domestic and international.
- Demonstrate a desire to develop and evolve skillsets.
