Job Summary- As an Underwriting Services Specialist, you will carry out policy administration for Commercial Insurance business with high levels of quality and efficient outputs, including other admin work.
- The role will involve working very closely with the Underwriting team to ensure smooth workflows and processes so that our policies are issued to customers accurately and in a timely manner.- Academic Skills and Professional Experience- Diploma holder

- Main Responsibilities- Assist in all policy processing activities of the Singapore Commercial Insurance business as
- directed by the Operations Supervisor. This includes:
- Process data input to local operations system in line with rules and guidelines
- Support other team members during peak renewal / busy periods
- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of policy processing activities
- Responding to enquiries within guidelines, answering questions and solving problems as
- needed
- Assist the Underwriting Services Manager in various company projects pertaining to
- improving policy processing / underwriting procedures and systems
- Assisting in occasional system support for UAT and defects testing to ensure smooth system
- implementation / improvements
- Handle queries and investigate reconciliation discrepancies (as required)
- Business Accountabilities- Service the needs of customers.
- Support others who maintain relationships with customers.
- Respond to inquiries quickly and completely, provide status updates.
- Recognize and respond to or refer opportunities.
- Identify and resolve problems by referring to policies, procedures, standards.
- Continually improve unit performance by analyzing and recommending enhancements to technical procedures.
