We are seeking a **Data Architect**with expertise in the **banking and capital markets**sector, focusing on **Risk & Regulatory (Risk & Reg)**reporting. This role involves designing data architectures to support financial data mapping and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and compliant data solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement scalable data architectures for risk and regulatory reporting.
- Map financial data to regulatory reporting frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, risk, and technology teams to deliver tailored data solutions.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure technologies for data warehousing, governance, and analytics.
- Support integration and optimization of financial and risk data within enterprise platforms.
- Provide leadership on data management, modeling, ETL pipeline design, and governance frameworks.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a **Data Architect**, preferably in banking or capital markets.
- Strong understanding of risk and regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., Basel III/IV, IFRS).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL).
- Proficiency in ETL tools, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certifications in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience in delivering large-scale data projects in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of financial reporting systems and risk management practices.
