My client is a global powerhouse in the financial service sector, covering portfolios across Asset Management, Investment services and Insurance. We are hiring a Data Analyst to support the Investment and Risk Management Team.

**Your new role**

This role is responsible for the overall data analytics, data reporting, data governance and privacy across the Investment Systems department.
- Optimise data analytics and quant tools for fund selection, asset management and insurance.
- Ensure continuous monitoring and research of fund data performance.
- Leverage understanding of data architecture and data tools to scale and automate data solutions.
- Enhance reporting capabilities with data visualisation tools for portfolio monitoring.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum of a Bachelor's in a related field like Computer Science.
- Experience in data analytics and data visualisation tools like PowerBI.
- Expertise in programming languages like R, Python or SQL.
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus, not a must.
- Highly considered but not a must: Experience in investment research and portfolio management software such as Morningstar, Mint, Backstop or Aladdin.
- Good oral or written communication and presentation skills.
