Vice President Client Broker Engagement

You are respected for your deep technical expertise and/or ability to oversee programs and processes. You balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment, along with a risk mindset. Ultimately, you take ownership for key outcomes.

This position is responsible for the management of Global, International and National Broker relationships. The role is focused on the implementation of the initiatives and governance under the Global Service Agreements with our Broker partners. The role is also focused on major account management.

**Responsibilities include**:
Accountable for the management of the Client & Broker Engagement relationships across Singapore in line with AIG’s internal best practices around governance and the implementation of global and local business initiatives.
Delivering a pipeline of opportunities across the range of AIG Underwriting products and Claim Services, through developing and strengthening client and broker relationships.
To work closely with the analytics team to ensure that timely data is available to review the performance of key Broker and Client relationships.
To work closely with the Product Lines Leaders (both local and regional) and the marketing team to establish a visible market presence and enable Thought Leadership to be demonstrated in industry, client and broker forums.
Comply with the AIG global Broker and Client management framework.

**Key objectives**:
Improve the quality of the AIG relationship with key Brokers and Clients, development clients and their brokers through greater transparency of AIG and knowledge transfer.
Achievement of agreed new business target through new and cross sell sales to strategic clients, development clients and prospects
Maintain AIG Salesforce for accounts within assigned portfolio
Manage designated ad-hoc projects
To carry out your accountabilities and objectives within the framework of AIG Singapore’s Compliance and Regulatory policies.

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s Degree/ ACCI / Appropriate Insurance Qualifications
A minimum 5 years’ experience of having a Management position
Experience in managing, engaging and building relationships with major brokers, local brokers, reinsurance brokers and clients
Strong commercial background and attention to detail
Proven interpersonal skills, including influencing key decision makers
Ability to engage "C" suite members
Experience of corporate insurance programmes both local, reinsurance and multinational, particularly across main Commercial Lines products
Sales and development experience
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Good profile and reputation in the local commercial insurance market
