We are seeking a talented and experienced Global Tech Analyst to join our client's dynamic team - to be based in Singapore

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive research on Korean hardware tech companies, evaluating their financial health, market position, competitive advantages, and growth prospects.
- Develop and present actionable long and short investment ideas based on thorough analysis and sound investment principles.
- Continuously monitor market trends, economic indicators, and other relevant factors that may impact the Korean hardware tech sector.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to forecast future earnings and perform valuation analysis.
- Prepare detailed research reports and investment memoranda, providing clear and actionable recommendations for portfolio managers.
- Work closely with other analysts and portfolio managers to share insights and contribute to the overall investment strategy.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, offering expert insights into the Korean hardware tech sector.
- Stay abreast of new analytical techniques, sector developments, and global economic trends to enhance research quality and investment performance.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5-8 years in equity research, particularly on the buy-side. Proven track record of performance in previous roles.
- Extensive experience with L/S investment strategies, demonstrating an ability to navigate and profit in varying market conditions.
- Deep understanding of the Korean hardware tech sector, including key players, market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory landscape.
- Strong capability in conducting detailed, bottom-up fundamental analysis. This includes financial modeling, valuation techniques, and the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into coherent investment theses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, necessary for articulating research findings and investment ideas effectively to a diverse audience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to and benefiting from the collective team knowledge.
- A relevant degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
