Advanced Blade Repair Services Asia, is a wind turbine training centre operating across Asia Pacific regions. The company is seeking an experienced Composite Blade Repair GWO Trainer to support our growing demand in our new GWO Training Centre.

This position will be focused primarily around the delivery of GWO blade repair training from our state of the art training centre based in Singapore.

Key points:

- Ideally a background in blade repair training or desire to undertake training within our GWO training facility and obtain relevant qualifications;
- Thorough knowledge of composites
- Good knowledge or repair procedures
- Have the confidence to stand infront of a class and deliver theory sessions
- Deliver engaging sessions and have flexibility in your delivery methods;
- Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meet the standards of the GWO Quality Framework and comply with training regulations.
- Have the ability to motivate trainees towards achieving the best possible outcome.
- Develop new and amend existing work instructions for blade repairs to be used in the centre replicating on site issued WI
- Knowledge of the HSE requirements for work in Singapore
- Perform blade repair reporting and documentation
- Knowledge of the wind turbine industry and key safety aspects
- Familiarity of working conditions and layout of a wind turbine, especially as relevant for the parts covered within the target standard

Minimum requirements for the role:

- Operational experience in wind farms in an engineering/trade position specifically focused on composites;
- A degree in aerospace or composites engineering or related technical field preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated experience in blade damage assessment and experience across multiple manufactures. Previous direct employment with a wind turbine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is considered an advantage;
- Possess the core competencies required to access, inspect and perform repair on significant structural blade damage (ie CAT III and above)
