Position Summary_

Materials Planner shall monitor inventory level and maintain adequate levels of materials base on customer forecast and usage. He/ She will assist to ensure that suppliers deliver the ordered materials accurately and on time.
- Responsibilities and Duties_
- Responsible to review stock status and customer demand regularly as needed.
- Carry out stock planning to meet customer demands and to optimize stock level.
- Prepare material plan and timely feedback of stock planning issues to the Superior.
- Convert internal Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order and issue Purchase Order to supplier.
- Follow up order status with supplier to ensure supplier ship out the order per Purchase Order.
- Compile and maintain records of quantity, cost, and type of material received, storage and issued out.
- Reconcile information on material requisition, invoice, and shipping notice to material receipt or issuance to verify accuracy of stock.
- Report & review rejected material together with Business Manager & supplier.
- Maintain good filing and retrieval system to ensure easy access of work documents.
- Recommend process/ systems improvement measures to the Superior.
- Comply with management systems procedures.
- Follow company’s procedures, safety rules and measures stated in the WSH Risk Assessment.
- Not to engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
- Use of personal protective equipment provided, to ensure safety at workplace.
- Responsible and participate in protecting environment, preventing pollution, complying with applicable requirements as identified in the policy statements and promoting sustainable practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge and Skills Requirement_
- GCE ‘O’ Level.
- At least 2 years working experience in related field for senior position.
- Good interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems.
- Reacts well under pressure, especially amid to constant organizational changes.
- Analytical and meticulous minded, who can recommend solutions for improvement.
- Team player who works well with team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Always represent the company in a professional manner.
- Keeping confidentiality of company’s information.
- Follow company’s procedures, safety rules and measures stated in the WSH Risk Assessment.
