**Roles & Responsibilities**
The Factory Manager will be responsible to oversee all daily operations with more than 300 staff of the plant from production and manufacturing of flexible packaging, to ensuring policies and procedures are duly implented and followed.
This position will be based in Batam, Indonesia.
**Responsibilities**
- Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations
- Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as a Factory Manager
- 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial position
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise and knowledge of ISO is preferable
- Highly motivated personality who is independent and possesses the ability to perform under pressure
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin. Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia will be an added advantage.
- Diploma and above in Manufacturing, Engineering or other related disciplines
