Quantity Surveyor

work as a contract engineer / quantity surveyor
- handling the daily tasks with regards to admistranation of construction contractor(s) in the project,
- review and draft variations, review new unit rates, coordinate the cost of variations with the disciplines,
- distribution of monthly quantities to disciplines for approval and then follow-up it,
- checking the status of variations with disciplines,
- able to review drawings and take off quantities from drawings,
- UPDATE ONLINE DATA BASE of the cost (invoice and variations),
- report to the Subcontracts Manager and support on all post award activities regarding contractual, legal and commercial issues and should preferably have experience in analyzing cost and time impact of variations.

**Job Requirements**:

- Familiarize with the contract terms and conditions, including the Contract Administration Procedure,
- Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy and requirements, identifies areas of concern on contract terms and conditions and provides contractual advice, and support to Subcontract Manager,
- Work closely and support Subcontracts Manager with administration of site construction contract(s) in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contracts,
- Notify and record the Milestone achievements and lack of achievements,
- Comply with the communication lines of the project and perform communication and cooperation with various disciplines on Site,
- Monitoring of interfaces, work progress of contractors in liaison with Site Team in order to achieve the successful project completion in the aspect of commercial & operational performance,
- File and administration of contractual documents such as Site Instructions, Variations, Certificates, Delivery Protocols,
- Identify contractual and commercial risks, define uncertain parameters and propose measures to reduce risk exposure in liaison with the disciplines.

Minimum years of experience: 5+

**Qualifications / Capabilities in**:

- Contract Management, Cost Management, Cost Estimating,
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products to include detailed experience with MS Excel/pivots,
- Knowledge of iTWO, which integrates traditional estimating, packaging, controlling and execution, (3D model + time + cost) into a single software platform,
- Languages: very high command of English,

Type of qualification: BSc/BA Degree in Engineering (mechanical / civil)
