**Job Title: Freight Trader***

**Responsibilities**:
- Continuously monitor freight rates and market conditions to optimize shipping costs and logistics. - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with carriers, forwarders, and other partners within the freight industry.

Negotiate spot and contract freight rates to ensure competitive pricing and service reliability.

Analyze trade routes and propose cost-effective solutions for moving goods globally.

Manage freight contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and profitability.

Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to integrate freight considerations into broader business strategies and operations.
- Effectively communicate market trends and insights to internal stakeholders to aid in decision-making.
- Utilize freight management systems to track shipments, manage documentation, and resolve any issues that may arise during transport.

**Key Skills**:
Proven expertise in freight, including a deep understanding of freight rates and the ability to secure competitive SPOT rates. - Robust network within the industry, including carriers and forwarders, to facilitate effective negotiations and partnerships. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market signals and make data-driven decisions. - Excellent negotiation skills, with a history of successful contract management and rate procurement. - Strong communication and collaboration capabilities, with a commitment to contributing to team success.
