In this role, you will report to the Asia COO and interact with a variety of internal stakeholders to:

- Develop and execute effective communications strategies for COG in Asia, in partnership with our global COG Communications team
- Align regional messaging and plans with our global COG internal communications strategy, while proactively managing COG communication channels and campaigns in Asia
- Support senior stakeholders and program owners in managing COG people engagement events, including town halls, and developing high-quality written communication materials, including leadership messages, briefing notes, internal social media posts (Workplace), intranet (SharePoint) pages as well as visually appealing audio-visual presentations
- Support the Asia COO in driving and implementing projects, programs and initiatives, and coordinate outcomes to support the ongoing performance and operations of the Corporate Operations Group (COG) in the region
- Develop agendas and reporting for leadership meetings, and follow-up progress and actions with stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will have a talent (and passion) for words, an understanding of how to capture an audience, experience delivering creative multi-channel communications campaigns, flexibility to adjust to changing fast-paced priorities and really strong attention to detail. You will also be able to demonstrate proactive, strategic, and prioritisation skills with a strong bias to delivery. You will need to be comfortable in managing multiple concurrent tasks for a broad set of stakeholders across different locations, keeping visibility on urgency/importance and re-adjusting focus as needed, and remaining flexible and agile. There is a strong need to be able to drive initiatives autonomously, keeping the Asia COO up to date as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in executive communications in multiple markets within the Asia region (including Hong Kong, Singapore, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, and Greater China), designing and delivering the divisional and market-specific internal communications strategy, integrating strategic BAU communications and transformational change communications that help internal customers achieve their goals
- Experience of corporate communications in a global financial organisation with a proven track record of writing and tailoring content for specific audiences and across multiple disciplines (including technology, human resources, operations, business services, risk and resilience, legal and governance, organisational culture, and community partnership) that demonstrates a deep understanding of messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, project management, and program delivery across several regions (namely Asia, ANZ, EMEA and the Americas) and a proven track record of producing engaging, impactful and consistent multimedia collateral for a variety of corporate communications channels (including corporate intranets, mobile, and internal social media channels), which amplify and enhance the overarching Group culture and strategy
- Experience in event management with a strong background in business and senior stakeholder partnership, and a proven track record of planning and executing diverse, inclusive, globally appropriate, and locally relevant events on a variety of platforms (including in-person, virtual, and hybrid settings).
- A proven track record of developing trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders across markets and the broader organisation, and maintaining a position of influence.
- Strong background in delivering on engagement programs and initiatives, including aligning Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) events, community involvement, and staff wellness offerings, through to the organisation’s culture and purpose.
- Strong understanding of business operations and administration, including the design and implementation of strategies, policies and practices that promote the organisation’s culture and purpose.
- Extensive experience in supporting Board and senior leadership country visits, from agenda preparation, schedule coordination, creation of presentation materials, to events management for the entire duration of the trip.
- High level of proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365 primarily for graphic design, video editing, and digital publishing.
