**Roles & Responsibilities**

**About our client**: Our client is one of the leading global manufacturers of engineering equipment for process industries.

**About the role**:

- Tendering responsibility for the Oil & Gas and/or Power segment.
- Provide quotes based on best cost and engineered selections to meet

customer specifications and market-level demands.
- Manage priorities of quote generation based on individual region and project importance.
- Fully support the front-end sales teams to achieve annual budgets set for each region.
- Possess strong technical and commercial background to support Sales and/or key accounts in front of customers.
- Supports the Key Account and/or Sales Manager during definition and alignment of the sales strategy including the involved factories and sourcing plan. Especially in projects involving more than one region and more than one Legal Entity. Potential focus could be e.g. Top 20 projects.
- Coordinate multiple product lines from different LE's to form one common Tender.
- Tendering will be “in coordination with Sales” the single technical contact to the customer for technical clarifications. Any outcome of customer meetings/negotiations must be communicated and coordinated with the bidding legal entities.
- Coordinates the overall delivery of the project with the factories
- Establishing market price level “together with Sales” at the time of the project overview; i.e. right at the beginning on project level in Salesforce including capturing the full scope of the project to identify the full potential of the company in the project.

**About you**:
**Education requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience

**Job experience**:

- Minimum 5 years of tendering experience for centrifugal pumps in the Energy markets.
- Reading customer requirements and making compliant pump selections.
- Able to compile deviations lists for customer specifications.
- Experienced at issuing inquiries for main buyouts such as electric motors, steam turbines, engines, gearboxes, lube oil systems, mech. seals and systems, couplings, etc.

**Knowledge requirements (professional, technical, language)**:

- Knowledge of pump hydraulics and able to handle technical clarifications
- Knowledge of API 610, 611, 612, 613, 614, 671, 677, 682, etc.
- Knowledge of using SAP systems
