Project Title: Research on Iris Murdoch Heidegger’s Manuscript: Applications for Literary Ethics

Project Introduction: This research project will contribute to the writing of an academic monograph on literature and philosophy as it relates to Iris Murdoch and Martin Heidegger. The research assistant will assist the Principal Investigator on research on the literary and philosophical writings of Iris Murdoch, and the philosophical texts of Martin Heidegger. The research will involve researching, reading and summarizing recent books, journal articles and book chapters on the above topics.

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English Literature or European Philosophy- Basic familiarity with the critical topics involved in research (existentialism, moral philosophy, Continental European philosophy, literature and philosophy)- Capacity to conduct critical analysis and synthesis of literature and relevant research- Experience in conducting literature reviews including the use of library databases to search for books, journal articles and book chapters- Excellent writing skills- Ability to organize data and research

**Responsibilities**:
- Conducting literature reviews on abovementioned topics- Conducting search for relevant literature and consolidating relevant literature in a database- Manage and organize research and data collected- Writing of summaries and bibliography
