Singapore Infineon Technologies Full time

The student will be part of the package simulation team. The simulation team uses physics-based simulation software such as Ansys WB and spaceclaim, LS-DYNA to model and simulate the response of designs under specific conditions. Some of the modeling and post-processing processes can be automated to improve efficiency and throughputs. The intern will undertake projects involving automation of the selected processes using scripts. Some examples are given below. - Geometric parametric study in ANSYS spaceclaim, including post-processing of simulation result and the generation of report - Machine learning and GUI development for forming process - Selected modeling process in LS-DYNA - Ansys,and LS-DYNA job submission to HPC from Windows-based system

In your new role you will:

- **Develop script (preferably in Python) to automate the analysis and digitalization of images**from SAM and simulation; the database has to interface with the in-house machine learning code
- **Develop visual basic script**which works with Autodesk Synergy API to automate the pre-processing, job submission and post-processing of result, including report generation
- **Develop Linux script**for the submission of computation jobs to HPC
- **Develop machine learning models**based on simulated data to improve prediction accuracy

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- On track to attain **Bachelor or Masters in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science / Software Engineering**:

- A self-driven individual with strong analytical ability & problem-solving skills
- Resourceful in finding relevant information to help in projectsHand-on experience in Linux, Python, Visual Basic, TCL/TK, Matlab and relevant coding environment
