**Job Description Summary**:

- Facilitate a team of NDT Inspectors in the inspection of repaired and manufactured parts.
- Ensure that all equipment, chemicals and material used for NDT meets the applicable specification requirements.
- Has overall responsibility for the following:
1.New NDT process or technique introduction

2.Conducting training and examination of NDT personnel

3.NDT process Improvement

4. Auditing of NDT process and suppliers

5. Focal point for Engineering issues on NDT

6. Focal point for NDT on audits by external agencies.

7. NDT Support on new product initiation.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate, train and coordinate the activities of the NDT teams. Impart proper skills towards processing and inspection of all parts to ensure the needs for business in terms of inspection services are met as a result of an efficient and high performing team.
- Look after proper maintenance of NDT inspection systems so that they meet the requirements of regulating agencies.
- Coordinate radiation-emitting area and personnel to be in compliance with all radiation safety regulations.
- Maintain personnel expertise and formal certification in the appropriate NDT disciplines.
- Develop the NDT staff with sufficient training and formal certification so that the needs of the business are adequately covered, including back-up.
- Develop and approve NDT Standard Operating Procedures, work instruction and techniques.
- Function as the primary technical interface and engineering resource on all NDT-related issues. (Preferable covering Radiography, FPI, UT, ECI)
- Constantly explore and seek better ways and more efficient methods of allowing the business to perform NDT in the most optimal manner.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Degree (Engineering or Material Science) or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience excluding level 2.
- Diploma (Engineering or Material Science) or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience excluding level 2
- ASNT NDT LEVEL 3, PT, ET, UT & RT
- NAS 410 /EN4179 3, PT, ET, UT & RT
- PCN/AERO Level 3, PT, ET, UT & RT

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Knowledge and experience on the following NDT process:

- PT : Method A and D ( Manual and Automated) UT: Contact A scan and immersion C scan ET: Manual and Automated RT: FilM/Filmless ( CR, DDA & CT)
- Strong Level 2 skill in PT, ET, UT & RT
- CAAS AME N11, N12, N13, N14 and N15
- CAAS Air Legislation Paper M10, L11 or L12
- Knowledge of manufacturing process and product technology
- Dynamic with Leadership skill
- Facilitation skill
- Good command of written/spoken English
- Basic knowledge of PC software
- knowledge and experience in NADCAP checklist AC 7114/1 and AC 7114/4
