We are looking for you,

**Deputy Shift Supervisor**

to our Operation team in Tuas, Singapore.

You will focus on to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations of the NEXBTL2 unit at Neste Singapore renewable product refinery complex. In this job you will work closely with Shift Supervisor to lead on behalf of the Shift Supervisor NEXBTL + HPU team of technicians responsible to safe, reliable, and efficient operate all units at the NEXBTL 2.

**Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future**
- Responsible to Operate integrated refinery safe, reliable, and efficient
- Lead on behalf of the Shift Supervisor NEXBTL + HPU team of technicians responsible to safe, reliable, and efficient operate all units at the NEXBTL 2.
- Responsible to operate NEXBTL2 unit according to the production plan in respect to quantity and quality.
- Responsible for executing daily orders related to efficiency and/or maintenance activities at NEXBTL2 Unit.
- Responsible for correctness, review, and improvement of assigned Operations NMS Work Procedures for the NEXBTL2 unit.
- Responsible, with peers, to ensure alignment and standard work practices are practiced.
- Responsible for first line troubleshooting with his/her team members for NEXBTL2 unit.
- Can be assigned to replace Shift Supervisor NEXBTL + HPU during his/her absence.
- Responsible for people management and development
- Coordinating and assigning tasks for NEXBTL2 unit (shift team of in total 6 team members).
- Responsible, on a daily basis, the team composition is competent (Area to Operate certified) to occupy 4 job positions in close cooperation with peer Deputy Shift Supervisor WA.
- Inform and provide feedback to Shift Supervisor NEXBTL + HPU on performance and competence needs for NEXBTL1 technicians.
- Responsibilities in the other processes
- Inform/ escalate to Shift Supervisor NEXBTL + HPU immediate on safety and/or utilization risks
- Responsible to lead, follow-up, review and improve assigned Task Risk Assessments for activities NEXBTL2. Align with Deputy Supervisor WA.
- Responsible to prepare and follow-up on PTW preparation/approval including LOTO and Blinding preparation for activities in NEXBTL2.
- Responsible to prepare and ensure correct implementation of Interlock bypass, fire-impairment and deficiency equipment for activities NEXBTL2.
- Responsible to initiate and lead safety discussions with team members.
- Responsible to report Incidents in synergy life system of NEXBTL2 related incidents during his/her shift.
- Responsible to ensure fault reports are entered correctly in the Bio+ system.
- Lead daily toolbox meeting before commencing the shift in NEXBTL2.
- Other responsibilities
- Area Lead
- Responsible to be the main contact or focal person in NEXBTL2.
- Update daily manpower in L2O shift manning tool.

**The best combination to succeed in this role**
- Minimum Diploma in Chemical related studies with at least 5 years' relevant experience (supervisory experience preferred) in chemical or petrochemical industry.
- Possess knowledge in Distributed Control System and Permit-To-Work System
- Able to perform rotating shift work and overtime work
